How to get root rights on Realme
The explorers on Android smartphones are designed in such a way that you cannot manually delete or modify system files. This restriction is set for security reasons, but experienced users often want to make important changes to the system themselves. For these purposes, root rights, which give access to the system folders, are excellent. How to get root rights and how to use them correctly on Realme smartphones - we will find out in this article.
What are root rights and what are they for?
Root rights (SuperSU) are special access to the root part of the smartphone. The user can edit the system files and folders that directly affect the functionality of the mobile device. Root rights add many new features to the phone, namely:
- block ads on websites and applications;
- Remove preinstalled services;
- installing applications on the SD card;
- overclocking the processor to maximum values;
- full configuration of the /system directory;
- Deep customization: change fonts, change animations, settings, screensavers.
Unfortunately, SuperSU also has significant drawbacks, which sometimes cause users to give up their extended rights:
- payment applications will not work (without a fix);
- the warranty will come off;
- the security of the phone will be reduced;
- updates will stop coming "over the air";
- high risk of damaging your smartphone and causing it to "brick" or bootloop.
Note that some of the above problems can be solved by using Magisk modules (e.g. hiding root from payment applications).
Before obtaining root rights, you need to carefully weigh all the pros and cons and decide whether you need them on your smartphone.
